AUSTIN BROWN | Owner & Insulation Specialist
Austin Brown’s journey in the construction industry began in 2014, when he started roofing houses. Over the years, he developed a deep understanding of various types of building construction, mastering the installation of shingles, roof vents, and gaining an appreciation for the importance of a well-ventilated attic. He became proficient in recognizing how different attics ventilate and why proper airflow is critical to the longevity of a home’s structure.
After honing his skills in roofing for three years, Austin moved on to work with his uncle’s insulation company in Saskatoon. This experience allowed him to expand his expertise in insulation, including blown-in insulation, batt and poly, installing attic baffles, and properly insulating attic hatches. He learned how to install gable vents and understood the key role that a well-insulated and ventilated attic plays in maintaining energy efficiency and overall comfort in a home.
With a combined background in roofing and insulation, Austin offers a unique perspective on home improvement, bringing a well-rounded knowledge of both fields to every project he undertakes. His hands-on experience and commitment to quality craftsmanship ensure that each job is completed with precision and care.
CHAD NISTOR | Partner & Insulation Specialist
With over 15 years of hands-on experience in the skilled trades and oil and gas sectors, Chad brings a well-rounded background to the team. From 2004 to 2020, he worked across a variety of fields, including electrical, sheet metal (furnace and A/C insulation), concrete, tiling, bricklaying, arborist work, and general construction. His time in the oil and gas industry included rig work and multiple shutdowns at the Co-op Refinery, further added to his practical, on-the-ground expertise.
In 2023, Chad transitioned into insulation contracting, drawing on his HVAC experience and expanding his knowledge in thermal and mechanical insulation solutions. His ability to adapt and build on his existing skills has made him a valuable leader in this specialized field.
Outside of the trades, Chad has also spent time supporting at-risk youth and individuals with cognitive disabilities. His work in this space reflects a commitment to mentorship, structure, and community care, values that carry over into everything he does.
